It has a firmware revision of 1.09 However, I've now seen a couple of references both here and on another forum, of newer version firmware being available for the AC130. But tell me, how do I find out about what update is available for my AC130 and how to download and install it? Is there a Panasonic webpage that I can go to for assistance with this?

Or am I mistaken about this, and misreading online posts? Any advice on this would be most greatly appreciated. I guess that I never did register on the PASS website. I filled out the warranty card, mailed it in, and then got your book on the AC130/AC160 later in the mail. The Panasonic Manuals don't really mention PASS at all, but there is a sticker on the first manual with the link to it, so I went there today and was able to register just fine.

It is odd, though, as I can navigate through the website just fine, and I found the AC130 firmware 1.11 update available under downloads. However, when I actually attempt to download the file, I get a missing link error message. It would appear that Panasonic has pulled the update file from their website. This particular release is about wi-fi activation, not for everyone. However, most software releases have a title and may or may not have other minor tweaks, so I would download and install all of them.

Sometimes skipping a release can lead to problems. Just make sure you don't have a power failure when the update is running. Best to use a UPS (don't rely on the mains staying up, even though the update time is only a couple of minutes).

You cannot run updates from your battery - if you try it you will get a warning message and have to shut down and plug in the power cord.
