As for the BT drive do you have any BT dongles connected to the USB? Personally I quit fixing friends computers since they never appreciate the work that goes into it. And yes, people are really careless how they allow their systems to get severely infected.

I remember one time a system being so screwed up the virus had turned off windows update and I had to go into the command prompt and type some lines to manually jump start it again. Thats one area where people screw up is they don't get the MS security updates which as we all know can leave a system wide open. You best have some good AV and firewall protection if you go to those sites.
